PAVIA COMPILATION! The Treasure Hunt for Adults through the Streets of Pavia

I cortili dell'Università

This summer, after the first Treasure Hunt for children at the Castello Visconteo, some parents—enthusiastic about the experience they had just shared with their kids—came up to us and said, “Why don’t you offer a Treasure Hunt for adults as well?” Manu, Marghe, and I looked at each other and said, “Of course! Why not?!” From there, we began thinking about a route through Pavia that would allow people to discover the city center through a Treasure Hunt made up of stages with fun challenges to complete, always keeping in mind that we want to offer you what we ourselves would love to do.

Moreover, as we also work as Licensed Tourist Guides in Milan, over the years we have regularly led and organized guided tours for both corporate groups and schools, designed as treasure hunts, discovering how this flexible and adaptable format allows people to get to know a city while having fun.

In our case, it’s not about racing around the city in search of little notes, but about carefully following our explanations at different stops and then completing a different challenge each time, working together with your own team. So, what will we be doing in Pavia on September 26 starting at 5:00 p.m.? To begin with, we won’t miss the University and its courtyards, where—after hearing unusual stories, past gossip, and lesser-known episodes—it will be your turn to put your… powers of observation to the test.

Of course, the Basilica of San Michele also offers plenty of inspiration for a treasure hunt, and here the surprise will be even more… surprising! So I won’t say any more. I’ll just tell you that at this point there will be the “cameo” of IL MONDO DI TELS.

While the café tables in Pavia’s squares begin to fill up for aperitivo, our teams will have reached Piazza Duomo, where we guides will take turns sharing lesser-known stories, characters, and curiosities, before leaving you with the third challenge. Only after completing it will we move on to the Castello Visconteo, bringing to life lesser-known stories connected to its characters and then leaving the “interpretation” of what you’ve heard up to you.

And the treasure? Will it be, as tradition has it, in the Castle…? The winning team will find out! There you go… I’ve already said too much! I’ll just share the practical information: booking is required as the number of participants will be limited; the guided tour/treasure hunt will last about 2 hours; cost: €10 per person; the teams will be formed by us based on registrations (but of course, if you arrive with a group of friends and wish to stay together, we won’t split you up!)—and you’ll see how fun it will be to start interacting right away with your new teammates!
